Sherman E. Daugherty

1920-2010

Shemian E. Daugherty  passed from  this life on March !, 2010. He  was born February  6. 1920 in  South Williamsport, PA.

He was the beloved husband of Betty (Hyden) Daugherty for the past 46 years. The best father ever to Duffy (Daugherty) Musgrove and the best Papa to Zac and Jake Musgrove.

He pursued his love of flying airplanes in the air force, and then as a pilot and flight instructor for the FAA. He was extremely proud of his grandsons Zac and Jake: they were the light of his life!
Sherman will be remembered for his humor, strength of character, wisdom and love. He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Helen Daugherty, brothers Laveme Daugherty and Warren Daugherty. He is survived by his wife Betty Daugherty, daughter Duffy Musgrove and her husband Mitch Musgrove, grandsons Zac and Jake Musgrove.

A remembrance celebration was held at Grace Fellowship Church of Norman, 3201 60th Ave. NW, Norman, Saturday, March 6 at 4:00 p.m.
