I am Don Herman's youngest daughter, Lin, and feel it necessary to advise you of Dad's passing on February 5th.  You may already have heard about this, however, I found your name in Dad's address book and felt the best thing to do was to advise you.  There's nothing worse than not hearing back from someone you have been communicating with and care about.
 

If you knew Dad, I'm sure you know what a gentleman and humorist he was.  He will be sorely missed, but more than that, he left his mark on this world and dedicated his life to improve the quality of life wherever he was.  Dad was a true hero to many, especially me, and I am blessed to have been his loving daughter for 58 years.   Mom is holding up and being strong, but you can imagine what her life is like now after being married to Dad for 65 years.  Dad was everything to me and has guided and helped me my entire life.  He was always there for me and I will keep him in my heart forever.
